Returns and Exchanges
- Extended Holiday Policies: Gift purchases made between November 16th and December 23rd may be returned at anytime before January 20th for refund or exchange and will not incur a restocking charge. Our standard return policy is 30 days. Simply mail the product back to us within 30 days of the Postal Services recorded delivery date. To ensure speedy processing, be sure to include a copy of your sales order/packing slip and reason for returning.
We do NOT charge any restocking fees for items returned within the prescribed timeframe. Items returned washed, used, or past the specified timeframe will be returned back to you,
or at our discretion, you will be charged an re-stocking fee. If your return is accepted after the prescribed window of time, the return is then subject to a minimum of a 20% re-stocking fee.
- Exchanges - If you purchased the incorrect size and need an exchange, simply return the product to us within 30 days of the Postal Services recorded delivery date. Be sure to include a copy of your sales order/packing slip and any other pertinent information. Upon receipt of the exchange, we will then ship you the size that you specify. Because we cannot guarantee an item will be in stock when we receive your exchange, you may want to consider sending the item back for refund and repurchasing the item(s) you wanted to exchange for.
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping for the item to be exchanged, Wave Shoppe pays the shipping for the replacement. We recommend that you choose U.S. Mail for returns. Please contact customer service for additional information on returning or exchanging an item. Thank you.

What is your refund policy?
- Refunds are processed after we have inspected the order and determined that it qualifies for a refund. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for refunds to be processed and posted to your bank account. Refunds will only be posted to the original purchasers account.
Non Returnable Items
- Please note that if you are returning items from an order that originally qualified for free shipping, the original order may no longer qualify for free shipping. Example: You purchased 2 shirts totaling over $75 and received free shipping (we paid the shipping for you). Now if you return one of the shirts for a refund, your original order is no longer over $75. If that's the case we will withhold from your refund the shipping fee that we originally paid on your behalf.
What items are not returnable?
- Clearance items.
- Fabrics sold by the yard.
- Special orders, which includes made to order apparel, Hawaiian shirts ordered in bulk, and Hawaiian shirts that have been modified or embroidered by the customer or 3rd party embroiderer.
- Any item that has become worn or visually damaged after taking delivery.
- Any clothing articles that have an odor, smells like smoke, perfume or deodorant, or appears to have been washed, or show any signs of being worn.
- Any pre-embroidered apparel that has visible damage to the embroidery work or backing.
- Any item that has been in contact with pets, pet hair or dander, known or unknown foreign substances.
- Any product missing the original labels, bar codes or ID tags.
It is very rare to have something go wrong with an order, but in the unlikely event that something is not satisfactory, we want you to know that we will always do our very best to make it right.
