This web site is hosted on a customized Apache web server and our shopping cart operates on a SSL Secure server managed by Appagare Software. We only transmit the personal/sensitive data to the payment processor in order to authorize the transaction. Statement of Privacy applies to waveshoppe.com and governs data collection and usage. By using the waveshoppe.com, web site you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information
Waveshoppe.com does not receive or have access to your credit card information. Appagare Software keeps the personal information (name, address, e-mail, etc.) portion of the order in the system for archival/reporting purposes but only for a finite amount of time (i.e. - we store your orders on our ASecureCart system for 90 days)

Waveshoppe.com receives electronic sales orders containing only your purchases and shipping information. Sales orders are maintained offline in a secure environment.

Use of your Personal Information
Appagare Software collects and uses your personal information to operate the ASecureCart web site and deliver the services you have requested to our payment processor. Appagare Software does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Waveshoppe.com will not, under any circumstances, sell, lend, lease your name or information to anyone for any reason what-so-ever. Order notifications provided to Waveshoppe.com remain indefinitely in our off-line system for order reference and archival/reporting purposes. Wave Shoppe Hawaiian Shirts may use the information to contact you to confirm specific portions of your order.

Use of Cookies
The ASecureCart web site use "cookies" to track the shopping cart session. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Such sensitive information is only retained for the duration of the transaction and is encrypted while on Appagare Software servers. The number of employees involved in the management of the data center that have physical access to these computers is limited, audited, and monitored.
