About Hawaiian Shirts |
Made in the USA |
|
|
|
| Our Aloha is made from professional grade Hawaiian shirt patterns
(made by Stacy A.K.A. Pattern Girl) and we own them. Wave Shoppe has licensed commercial
cutting and sewing services and we utilize what we consider to be some of the best seamstresses in the country. Professional
in-house seamstresses like Irma and Lorna and our contract sewing crew are the backbone of our business and that's what makes our shirts exceptionally good. Extra attention is paid to the collars and supports, we use Pellon fusible interfacing, which which helps stabilize and retain the good looks of our Hawaiian shirts for years to come. We use real coconut buttons that are a few millimeters larger than the competition (we like to show them off). The buttons are sewn on with heavier, color matched threads.
|
Hawaiian
fabrics that we use are hand picked to insure that the fabric has good hand and draping qualities, ensuring the
utmost in shirt quality. We make every effort to purchase premium grade fabrics with high thread counts. |
| Men's Hawaiian shirts have perfectly matched pockets.
Hawaiian shirts
with matched pockets can be compared to wallpaper. If you have ever hung patterned wallpaper, you know the importance of matching up the
grains and patterns. The same goes for shirt pockets, our highly experienced cutters and seamstresses actually match the pockets to the
shirts grain and print, right on down to the most intricate detail. Hand matched pockets set our Hawaiian shirts above the products made by most
other Hawaiian shirt manufactures.
| Women's
aloha shirts are cut in sizes that are made exclusively for women and they will taper to your waistline and compensate for lift
much better than a man's shirt. The collars are very feminine and raise the bar for all Hawaiian shirts. The shirt is finished off with 5 coconut
buttons that are on the left panel. Though there may be extenuating circumstances, we do not see any good reason why a lady has to wear a
unisex Hawaiian shirt.
| Automobile enthusiasts rave over our
Hawaiian shirts with cars
and we hand pick the fabrics and prints to insure that we carry car shirts in patterns and fabrics that cater to a diverse car culture. You
can even find our car shirts in select retail stores.
| To ensure the utmost in quality, inspect the print quality of the fabric during purchasing,
manufacturing and again prior to shipping.
Pat A.K.A. Packaging Girl, checks them all. We guarantee you will not get a blemished or defective Hawaiian
shirt. | |

Hawaiian Shirt Trivia:
Q What shirt lines are actually designed and produced in Hawaii?
A Only a few companies in the whole state of Hawaii decided to stay true to the original Hawaiian shirt. Reyn Spooner, created in 1956, is one of the few aloha shirt lines actually designed and produced in Hawaii. We think they are fine Hawaiian shirts but you will pay in between $95.00 to $140.00 for Reyn Spooner Hawaiian shirts.
Our customers feel that Wave Shoppe Hawaiian shirts are of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Wave Shoppe Hawaiian shirts are American made and priced 30 to 50% lower than everyone else's designer Hawaiian shirts. Aloha
